Lettering

Treatment of invalids, Ashluslay Indians. ... Photo by E. Nordenskiöld. Lettering continues: "The medicine-man rubs over the parts of the body which are ailing. In the background is to be seen the primitive invalid chair. It is made of three beams fixed in the ground and fastened together by cross-pieces. The invalid sits on the ground, leaning against these props, so as to rest himself."
