Part of the same photograph was reproduced (uncredited) in Chiefs and cities of Central Africa by Olive Macleod (Temple), Edinburgh 1912, facing p. 246, from which it is inferred that she, Olive Susan Miranda Temple, Mrs C.L. Temple (1886-1936), was the photographer, rather than her husband, Charles Lindsay Temple (1871-1929), though he is credited in the present print as the photographer
