Description

The flag is the black, white and red flag of Germany. In the background, land labelled "German colonial posessions" [sic] is marked by the flags of France, Great Britain and Japan. In 1914 Japanese forces captured German colonies at Tsingtao (Shandong province, China) and some of the Pacific Islands forming German New Guinea
