Typescript draft (with additions) and final typescript of Crick, "Why I am a humanist".

The file includes a brief exchange of letters with the editor of Varsity (Cambridge University newspaper), to whom the article was submitted for publication.

Also included is a brief typed biography of Crick, a schedule of events (Cambridge Humanists) in which Crick is listed as speaking on "Life on Other Worlds" (20 October), two sheets of notes (holograph), and a letter (typescript draft) to the Editor of Varsity, drafted in response to "the sympathetic and understanding letter of Professor W H Thorpe in last week's Varsity: Crick's letter addresses the differing views of Christians (e.g. Canon Montefiore) and humanists.
