Logbook of the Priory Hospital, Roehampton for patients, male and female, admitted 1905-1909 (No 4 in a sequence).
Contains preprinted numbered form pages for information on patients on admission including physical examination, comments of certifying doctors, followed by blank pages for further reports on their progress until discharge, death, or case continuation to later volume. Indexed. Some inserted material including notices of death and escape, correspondence.

Purchased in September 2006

Biographical note

The Priory appears to have been established around 1873 as a Metropolitan Licensed House for the reception of the insane. It is still in existence as part of The Priory private mental health care group.
