Description

Ephemera collected by Adamson during his work in Haycock Press Ltd. on Fleet Street in the 1930s. Most of them are by artist Henry J. Recknell (credited) and are visuals: original artwork submitted to the agency before the mass production of leaflets. They are designs for commercial leaflets (Osram; Meccano: Toys for Boys; Whiteway's Cyder) and political campaigns of the day (Tariff Reform).
