Lettering

I was fourteen, pregnant, and scared. Soon my baby came and I figured things would be okay. Then I found out I was HIV+. And I was terrified. Is my baby sick too? Am I going to die? Does anybody care? It's not fair. I was angry. And felt hopeless. Everything I did meant more. For me. And for my baby. Then I found this great place to live. And grow. And get some answers. I know I made the right choice. I'm at Rainbow House. Rainbow House is a long-term care residence for adolescents and teen mothers with their infants who are HIV+ or have AIDS.
