Songsheet nos. 5008 & 5009 (musical bouquet) about a travelling doctor and his patent medicines (made of railway grease, soap, dutch cheese and castor oil etc.). The satirical song touches on syrup of squills, camomile pills, measles, croup, whooping cough, plaisters, toothache, wooden arms and leeches.
