About this work

Description

Composite photograph (sepia print, 15" x 12") comprising five images of Crick actively lecturing.

The print has no identifying marks. However, it can be found reproduced in Harmke Kamminga and Soraya de Chadarevian, Representations of the Double Helix (Cambridge Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine, Cambridge: 1995), where the caption identifies it as "photographed by Bradley Smith in the 1970s" (p. 13).
