Pp. 107-140 contain a treatise, 'Le thé de l'Europe, ou propriétés de la Véronique. Tirées des observations des meilleurs auteurs, et surtout de celles de Mr. Francus [sic] médecin allemand'. This appears to be a translation of Johann Franck's Polychresta herba Veronica, published in 1690.
The original work seems to date from the first half of the 18th cent. - the date 1732 occurs on p.505. This copy was probably made about 1825.
