Broster, Charles

Collection of medical receipts: in English and Latin. On the first leaf 'Charles Broster August the 23th [sic] 1653 pret[ium] 1s 4d'. On the recto of the second leaf is a priced list of medical books headed 'Furnish thy selfe with these bookes'. Above the inscription on the first leaf is a red crayon drawing, head and shoulders, of a man wearing a full-bottomed wig. The latter part of the volume contains gynaecological, and other extracts and notes in Latin.
