Description

Collection of medical receipts in German and Latin, including herbal remedies. Latin-German glossary of herbs (incomplete). Leaf 4 and 5r contain 'Von dem lebendigen wasser daz man da nennet daz guldin wasser hat gelert der...Meister Bartholomeus von franckfort'. Ll. 13-end contain the Glossary of Herbs beginning: 'Artimesia significat bibosz' which is entered in Thorndike's 'Incipits' Col. 63, and attributed to 'Macer'.

1 volume 18 ll. 4to. 19 x 141/2 cm. Modern vellum binding. The end is wanting. Margins cropped. Some initials and headings in red.
