Medical recipes and notes collected by John Parkinson, a medical student or practitioner, written in, and following, an interleaved copy of Medulla medicinae universae: or a new compendious dispensary [edited by John Theobald] (London, 1747). On ff. 81-109 are notes on fevers and on therapies for venereal diseases, consumption and other diseases. On ff. 113-125 is a copy of the pharmacopoeia of St Thomas' Hospital, London. Bound together with a copy of Richard Mead, A discourse of the small-pox and measles ... translated by John Theobald (London, n.d. [?1747]), xvi, 143 pp.
