Receipt-Book, Italian: 16th century

Collection of medical receipts: mainly in Italian, the rest in Latin. Written in a small semi-current humanistic hand with a few later additions. On the verso of the fifth leaf is scribbled the name 'Alsinoro Marco 1648'.

Early 16th century

1 volume 45 ll. (first bl.). 8vo. 141/2 x 11 cm. Modern vellum binding. The last leaf slightly defective, margins frayed and leaves somewhat stained throughout.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
