Description
Collection of medical receipts, with some additional entries by slightly later hands, including a few cookery receipts.
Written in a neat Elizabethan italic hand: the additions are by various hands of the early 17th cent.
The cookery receipts are found on the first three unnumbered leaves at the beginning.

1 volume 6 ll. (last bl.). + 156 pp. 4to. 20 x 15 cm Modern re-binding in old vellum. Pp. 25-36, 57-62, 127/8, and two leaves between p. 1 and p. 7 are wanting: lower part of p. 105/6 torn away, margins and corners frayed, slight staining throughout.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
