Description

Collection of medical, cookery and general household receipts in various hands, a few in French, One recipe is ascribed to 'Sir W.H. Clinton' (f. 69r.), presumably General William Henry Clinton (1769-1846), knighted in 1815. There is an index at the front of the volume (ff. 1-3).

1 volume 1 vol., 185 x 115 mm. Green vellum-covered boards, with marbled end papers. 104 ff. 76-103 blank. Original foliation 1-64, then pagination 65-77, and unnumbered.
