Includes photographs of memorial to RAMC personnel of 3rd Stationary Hospital who died during the Boer War; and portrait photographs and photographs of painted portraits, including three showing uniform of medical officers and Hospital Corps sergeant in the 1870s, and portraits of a Russian officer during the Crimean War, Sir Thomas Longmore, Sidney Herbert (later Lord Herbert), Professor E. A. Parkes, Lieutenant Colonel William Winslow Tomlinson, Surgeon Major John Waring Belcher, Surgeon Major W.O. Wolseley, and Sir David Monro, Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives.
