Six men in evening dress and a man seated on a prop in drag on the battleship HMS Royal Oak; the ship was later sunk after being torpedoed in Scapa Flow in October 1939, with 833 men lost.

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: Shows on concert party on the ill-fated battleship HMS Royal Oak, circa 1918-20. The 'drag' performer is in a badly improvised costume and wig, the formally attired male chorus all smoking cheroots.
