About this work

Description

Lamel Beeches was the Medical Superintendent’s House, built to replace the former residence which occupied the site of the Recreation Room. The foundation stone for Lamel Beeches was laid in 1908 and it was completed in 1909. These photographs all show the exterior of Lamel Beeches, and also its garden. One photograph, taken from along its drive, shows it in the distance.
